Car Makers and ALABC Give Boost to Advanced Automotive Batteries
The next generation of energy storage systems for cars will be fast-tracked to meet the needs of auto makers, like Ford Motor Company. That was the major news to come from a recent technical workshop in Germany, organized by European industry leaders.
Foremost, car makers will work more closely with the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) to create agreed-upon standards that accelerate the development of technology for the micro-hybrid market.
