Gopher Resource Gives to Those In Need

Gopher Resource employees came together to sponsor a necessities drive and Christmas dinner for the residents of the Dakota Woodlands homeless shelter.

​Dakota Woodlands believes everyone deserves an opportunity for a fresh start and to address their life’s complications in a safe and compassionate environment. Located in Eagan, Minnesota Dakota Woodlands can assist 22 homeless families at one time with housing and training that includes life skills, financial literacy, and personal wellness. The award winning program at Dakota Woodlands is known for its homey atmosphere, personal attention, and successful “one shelter stay” for its residents. After leaving the shelter, over 92% of the residents who participate in the full program succeed in staying stably housed.   ​
