Gopher Resource Receives 2017 Hermes Platinum Creative Award for Outstanding Website Design

The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) announced that Gopher Resource is the winner of a 2017 Hermes Platinum Creative Award – an international honor. Gopher Resource won in the “Business-to-Business” subcategory for the complete redesign and launch of its company website. 

Dan Leach, chief business development officer for Gopher Resource, welcomes the award for what it signifies.

“We’re grateful for the recognition, but more so, for the significant progress Gopher Resource and our industry have made in telling the successful story of lead battery recycling,” Leach said. “We want our communities to understand the value of lead batteries and the essential, environmentally responsible work that our employees and vendors are dedicated to doing 365 days a year.”

The company’s website initiative was part of a broader plan to refresh the company’s brand and more accurately convey its environmental contributions. The company collaborated with long-time strategic marketing partner, Activated Growth, who provided overall site consulting, design, writing and development.
