Supporting Local Students with Essential Supplies

Starting a new school year is easier when students have the tools and essentials they need to succeed. This summer, employees at Gopher Resource’s Tampa facility came together to collect nearly $800 worth of hygiene and school supplies for students at Kenly Elementary and King High School.

The donations included backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and personal care items—resources that help kids feel prepared, confident, and ready to focus on learning. For many families, these supplies relieve a financial burden and ensure students can start the year on equal footing with their classmates.

• Kenly Elementary: Younger students received classroom basics and hygiene items that give them a healthy start to the year.

• King High School: Older students were supported with supplies that not only aid academic success but also encourage self-care and well-being.
